Can you treat active acne?

Yes — we focus first on calming active breakouts and clearing congestion with clarifying facials and peels, then address scarring once the skin is clearer. Severe or cystic acne may also warrant seeing a dermatologist, and we'll let you know if so.

Will you help with acne scars too?

Absolutely. Once active breakouts are under control, microneedling and resurfacing are excellent for softening acne scarring and refining texture over a series.

How long until I see clearer skin?

Many clients see congestion improve after their first few treatments, with the best results — especially for scarring — building over a series. We'll map out a realistic timeline at your consult.

How much does acne treatment cost at Bocaba?

Our clarifying acne facial is $135, and acne peels start at $125 depending on the level. For scarring, microneedling is $325 (series of three for $865), and the DEKA CO₂ Peel for pronounced scarring is $1,800 for the full face.

What's the best treatment for acne scars?

It depends on the depth of the scarring. Mild to moderate texture responds well to a microneedling series, while pronounced scarring is best treated with the DEKA CO₂ Peel. We assess your scars in person and build the right plan.

Should I tell you about my acne medications?

Yes, please share any prescriptions or retinoids you're using at your consult. Some treatments need to be timed around certain medications, and we'll plan around them to keep your skin safe.

Do you offer at-home acne products?

Yes. We carry medical-grade acne care, including cleansers, mandelic acid, and treatments, in our shop, and we'll build a simple routine that supports your in-office results.
